We bought 3 amazing Indian wooden mirrors from Sohal. Karminder was absolutely amazing to deal with, great communication, kind and friendly, quick to respond. When the mirrors arrived they were more than what we hoped for. Solid, heavy and exquisite detail and quality. We will be buying more decor and furniture from Sohal for sure ! I had been searching for a particular Mother of Pearl inlay chest of drawers in Melbourne without success.
I came across Sohal Living on the net. I was nervous about purchasing something like this from interstate sight unseen so I emailed several questions which were always answered promptly and in detail. As I got closer to my decision Karminder emailed me numerous photographs which showed me the various colours of items together so that I could determine their colours, as well as close up details of the chest.
Once I had ordered the chest Karminder immediately organised delivery to Melbourne.
I wanted to bring the delivery date forward once it had reached Melb and she again immediately rang the delivery company to arrange it.
The chest was packaged incredibly well and arrived in perfect condition.
Karminder was great to deal with from start to finish.

"We have made 3 internet purchases from Sohal Living and are absolutely delighted with them. The first was a charpoy that Karminder sourced for us in India, following an enquiry. She put a great deal of effort into making sure she found what we wanted, sent us photos, kept in touch with us to inform us about shipping progress and arranged transport at a reasonable cost from WA to Adelaide, SA. The charpoy arrived well packed and in good condition. The second item was a beautiful village mirror which was pictured on the website and arrived in excellent condition.3rd item is a very large doors for our wearhouse, which arrived very well packed , very happy - we love them. It can be a risky business choosing and purchasing large items from photographs, but we were wonderfully assisted in making our choices - all our questions were answered, extra photos were provided and all our questions were answered by Karminder who was genuinely interested in what we wanted and how the items would fit into our home. We even received a refund when it turned out that transport fees were not as expensive as expected. We only wish we could visit the shop - perhaps we will."

Wanting to recreate a small part of home away from home , our search brought us to exquisite and exotic Sohal Living in right time while we were planning to furnish our new home. Karminder's collection has a finesse which projects "recycling" to a new dimension. Beautifully carved teak and marble structures, some of which are few good decades old and had seen better days have been assembled to suit our current trend and lifestyle. Assembly requires a good vision and Karminder planned each of them well. No doubt the finished versions have a "wow" factor. Karminder personally saw to it that the pieces we had selected would suit well with our decor. Their easy maintenance was an added benefit.
